Welcome to Birkegaardens Bed and Breakfast

We live on a small part-time farm in rural settings, but close to Copenhagen, the old Vikingtown Roskilde and the charming town Køge. You will therefore have the possibility of combining countrylife with visits to the capital of Denmark - for instance a trip to Tivoli. We live only 2½ km. from the bikeroute Berlin - Copenhagen, so we have many visitors arriving on bikes.

We can offer tree bedrooms on first floor in our farmhouse with access to a large furnished TV-room. Our guests will share one bathroom. If you want a dobbleroom with your own bathroom it will cost 50kr ekstra/night. The price is 380 kroner/night for singlerooms and 500 kroner/night for dobblerooms. ( 550kr if you want your own bathroom) 

In the summertime you can also rent  a log cabin/ wooden cottage in our garden. There are room for 2 people in the cottage, which are 12 m² There are no bathroom in the cottage it selves, but you will have acces to a bathroom tv-room and a kitchen in a building few meters from the cottage. So here it is possible for you to cook your own food. (or you can buy breakfast from us) The price for the cottage (2 persons) is 500 kroner /night

The price for breakfast is 70 kroner per person - 35 kroner for children (3-12 years). You are welcome to smoke outside - but we kindly ask you not to smoke in the house.

Our prices includes bedlinnen, towels and (on first floor) wireless network.

We have a large garden where our guests can relax in the garden-furniture or use the barbeque. The children can also play in the garden.

We are ready with any information you may need on excursions and transport in the area. You can also rent bikes from us.
